How We Are Preparing To Tackle COVID-19
March 17th, 2020Even when the streets are empty and the supermarket shelves are bare in the Philadelphia area, you can still count on Guaranteed Plumbing to provide you with effective, timely, and, most of all, safe services. After all, that is our job, and we are dedicated to it! Continue reading to learn how we are preparing to tackle COVID-19 while providing excellent plumbing services to our local customers.
We’re Staying Updated…
In order to take the right precautions, we must first know what we’re dealing with. Guaranteed Plumbing has been vigilant in staying updated on the latest news and reports from the CDC, WHO, as well as state and local public health officials. What we’ve learned so far is that COVID-19 is a new strain of coronavirus that is spreading at an unprecedented rate. Although nobody is immune to the virus, those with pre-existing health conditions are high-risk patients who must protect themselves at all costs! The CDC recommends that individuals go into a self-imposed quarantine until the situation deescalates.
…And Taking Precautions
With these facts in mind, Guaranteed Plumbing understands that people’s lives don’t simply come to a stop just because we’ve all been ordered to stay indoors. In fact, now that most families are spending the majority (or entirety) of their days at home, their plumbing system is feeling the strain. You need available plumbers now more than ever, and we’re here to help!
Guaranteed Plumbing will still be accepting appointments and providing local emergency plumbing services for those whose plumbing systems aren’t performing at peak efficiency. However, our expert technicians will be taking extra precautions in an effort to protect the health of their families, fellow coworkers, customers, and, of course, themselves.
Expect our professional plumbers to…
- Arrive wearing protective gear, like gloves and face masks
- Wash their hands with hot water and soap for at least 20 seconds
- Use sanitizer as needed while they work
- Practice mindful hygiene, such as sneezing or coughing into a bent elbow or disposable tissue
- Respect social distance, if possible
What You Can Do
We encourage our customers to show their Guaranteed plumbers the same respect as they do to you. Please practice your own mindful hygiene habits (listed above) while our plumbers are on a service call at your house. The only way to stop this virus is if we work together to keep each other safe.
